Overview

Older person's physiotherapy

We provide physiotherapy for older people. We can help you with problems like:

  • finding it harder to move after staying in hospital
  • poor balance
  • low confidence

You'll have an appointment with a physiotherapist. They'll give you information about your condition and some options for managing it. This may include:

  • advice and exercises to complete with the physiotherapist and by yourself at home
  • 1-to-1 physiotherapy
  • exercise classes for your condition

We'll work with you to produce a treatment plan that is best for you.

Research and clinical trials

Research is vital to improving the care that you receive when you're unwell. You can help improve healthcare by taking part in research studies at our Trust. During your appointment, ask your healthcare professional about research. They'll be happy to tell you about research studies you could be eligible to join.
