Before your appointment

Please bring a list of the medicines you take, including any you take for your diabetes.

During your appointment

You'll see a transplant surgeon who will discuss your pancreas transplant with you. Your appointment will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

After your appointment

We'll send you a letter about the discussion you had with the surgeon and what will happen next.

We'll give you the contact details of a transplant coordinator. They'll be able to update you about the tests you have before you go on the transplant waiting list. Please contact them if you have any questions while you're waiting for your transplant.
