Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted infection, which is caused by a tiny parasite called trichomonas vaginialis (TV). Visit the NHS website for more information about trichomoniasis.
We are seeing more trichomonas vaginalis (TV) infections that are more common in black African and Caribbean communities. If you are part of this community or have a sexual contact who is, please book an appointment for testing.
