How to submit a referral
Non-e-RS referrals
In line with NHS England's Digital First approach, we encourage all external non-e-RS referrals to be submitted digitally.
Digital referrals help reduce delays, improve traceability, minimise the risk of lost or incomplete information, and support safer patient care.
Please submit referrals by email to [email protected].
We accept:
- self-referrals
- referrals from the patient's carers
- referrals from GPs or other health professionals
- referrals from schools, colleges and social workers
To refer, please complete the referral form and email it to us.
We'll respond to routine referrals within 2 working days.
We'll respond to high-risk referrals (eating, drinking, breathing and falls) on the same day.
