We're committed to making sure that everyone working with us has the right support to carry out their role safely and effectively. 

Our staff workplace adjustment passport helps you talk with your manager about removing any barriers you face to support you to do your job as best as you can.

It will include information that is relevant and important about any disability or long term health conditions you may have.

It's important we know this information to help us provide the right adjustments at the right time. You can share this with us at any stage of your recruitment process, including at your interview, as well as when you start working with us.

Clinical education and training

As world famous teaching hospitals, we train the doctors, nurses, allied healthcare professionals and dentists of the future.

Work experience

If you're starting out and think you might be interested in a career in healthcare, we provided work experience opportunities to more than 450 young Londoners in both clinical and non-clinical services across the Trust.

Management training scheme

This scheme offers the chance to develop professional and leadership skills through a combination of practical experience and a postgraduate qualification.

You'll do 2 placements over 2 years:

  • an operational role making sure services are managed and delivered in the best possible way for our patients
  • a placement focusing on quality and service improvement, or longer-term plans and projects

We'll provide a range of support and learning opportunities. These will complement the skills you develop on placement to help you become a leader and improve patient services.

Apprenticeships

We recruit apprentices to a variety of areas and job roles including engineering, hospitality, healthcare science and clinical apprenticeships such as nursing associates.

We currently have more than 540 apprentices and aim to offer up to 350 new apprenticeships every year.
