This specialist clinic is for adults with less complex types of epidermolysis bullosa (EB), such as EB simplex.

Your appointment will be face-to-face or by telephone.

At this clinic you'll see a podiatrist, a health professional trained to diagnose and treat abnormal conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They will have a specialist understanding of the issues related to EB.

It is for people with complex and severe types of EB.

You'll attend for a half or full day. You'll see a range of EB specialists including a:

• consultant dermatologist
• specialist nurse
• dietitian
• ophthalmologist
• plastic surgeon
• physiotherapist
• hand therapist

Your specialist EB team or GP can refer you.

At this clinic you may see a dermatology consultant or registrar.

Specialist EB nurses also attend this clinic and you'll be able to see them if this is requested by the doctor.
