Our services are based on two hospital sites and several locations within the community in south east London.

Travel information
Bus stops near St Thomas' Hospital
There are cycle lanes and bus stop bypasses on Westminster Bridge Road and Lambeth Palace Road. Please take care when crossing the cycle lanes outside St Thomas’ Hospital. Cyclists are reminded to take care and be aware of pedestrians when cycling past the bus stops.

Bus
Allow 15-20 minutes to get from the bus stop to where you need to be in the hospital.

School service prioritisation
TfL will be prioritising some bus services for school travel until Friday 18 December. The amended services will operate weekdays between 7.30-9am (some routes will last until 9.30am) and 2.30-4.30pm. Please allow extra time for your journey.

Walking
It is possible to walk between Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals and takes approximately 30 minutes. Download our walking maps (PDF 688Kb).

Bicycle
The Trust provides cycle parking facilities in nearly all its locations. These facilities are not for long-term storage. If a bicycle is considered to have been abandoned, it will be removed as stated in the Trust’s bicycle storage policy.
Bicycle racks are located at:
- the front of the main reception (50 spaces)
- between the main entrance and Lambeth Wing entrance (40 spaces)
- along side Gassiot House (50 spaces)
- next to the Florence Nightingale Museum (50 spaces).

There are two cycle hire docking stations near St Thomas'. One is located in front of the Emergency Department (A&E) by Archbishop's Park and the other one is located at Lambeth Palace Road, near Westminster Bridge Road. To see where they are use the interactive docking station map and search for Archbishop's Park or Lambeth Palace Road. It will tell you the number of bicycles available and the number of free spaces to park your bike.

Taxis
At St Thomas’ Hospital, the phone for calling taxis is located on the lower ground floor of Lambeth Wing and is mounted on the wall outside of Patient Transport.
