Sexual health service update
Due to increased demand on the hospital because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we are having to make significant changes to our services.
Unfortunately, some appointments are cancelled or postponed after clinical review. This includes most of our face to face appointments. We are also not offering a walk-in service.
If you think you need to see us please call the phone helpline 020 7188 7707 and our team will assess your requirements. Where possible we are offering telephone consultations.
However, if you have been invited for an appointment, it's important that you still come in. Our services are open and safe to attend.

Our telephone helpline is open seven days a week.
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4pm (Wednesdays 1-4pm)
- Saturdays, 8.30am-4pm
- Sundays, 9.30am-5pm.
We will try to see you as close as possible to your appointment time, but this might not always be possible. Please allow two hours extra for appointment, if it goes ahead.
If you are under 18 years of age and would like to see us, please book a time for the team to call you back on the SXT website.
During the call we will identify the most suitable service for you and arrange an appointment.
If you do not have symptoms and want a check-up, please use a home testing kit, available from the Sexual Health London website. Sexual Health London are offering kits if you have simple symptoms – please go to their website for more information.
If you want simple contraception (pills, patch or ring) or oral emergency contraception (the morning after pill) and live in Lambeth, Southwark, Brent, Ealing, Hackney and City, Harrow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea or Westminster, you can order this for free from Sexual Health London.
Please visit the Sexual Health London website. You will be asked a few questions and then have a Lloyds Pharmacy online consultation which will be reviewed by a GP, and if suitable, the contraception will be delivered to you or sent to your local Lloyds or Sainsbury's pharmacy.

If you have had tests done with us, you will receive a text or a phone call with your results within 5-10 working days. If you have not received a text or a phone call after 10 working days, please call our results line on 020 7188 3518. This line is answered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 4pm (Wednesday 1-4pm).
