Coronavirus: cancer update

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, please read our advice and information before attending the service.

Types of cancer

There are many types of cancer, and each is treated in different ways, by our specialist teams with expertise in their field. If you would like to find out more about a particular type of cancer, click on the type of cancer below.

Each link takes you to more information about the condition and what you can expect from your hospital care. We also signpost you to other organisations offering support to people with this type of cancer.

We also work closely with the palliative care service.

We want to make sure you have all the information you need to understand what to expect from your condition and the care you will receive. If you have questions that aren’t answered here, speak to your key worker or clinical nurse specialist (CNS).

And remember that we also care about the psychological and emotional well-being of carers and can offer services to you and your carer. If you are finding things tough, just ask. You are not alone.

Information leaflets for patients

We produce a range of information leaflets for cancer patients.
