Guy’s is our world-famous research and teaching hospital, based on an historic site at London Bridge. We’re proud to be the largest provider of cancer care in London. With 400 beds, Guy’s is a major hub for planned (elective) care across south east London. It’s also a national leader in specialist services including orthopaedics, ENT, urology, breast, kidney (including transplant), and dental care.
Guy’s also houses the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, the UK’s largest clinical dermatology service and a global leader in skin research, care and training. Whether you’re here for a routine appointment or a complex condition, you’ll be supported by some of the best experts in the field.
As a centre of research excellence, Guy’s is home to the Centre for Translational Medicine and dedicated clinical research facilities. We work side-by-side with colleagues from King’s College London to turn scientific breakthroughs into better care.

Our state-of-the-art Cancer Centre brings together comprehensive care for patients under one roof. Patients receive world-class diagnostics and treatment, from radiotherapy and chemotherapy to complex surgery from highly skilled and deeply caring teams.
We are also the centre for ground-breaking research and clinical trials, helping us to improve cancer treatments and outcomes.
