New birth reviews within 14 days
We aim to ensure that all mothers and their new babies experience seamless provision of postnatal care in the transfer of care from the midwifery service to the health visiting service.
What's the standard?
We are expected to see at least 95% of all new babies for whom we have health visiting responsibility within 14 days of birth.
How are we doing?
- December 2019 – 96.2% of new mothers were seen within 14 days after giving birth
- November – 96.4%
- October – 96.3%
