Lymphoma services

Diagnosis and treatment of Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas

Lymphomas are blood cancers. The disease arises in a cell called a lymphocyte, which is broadly divided into Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.

Our service

We have a well-established lymphoma service at our hospital and work closely with the haematology, clinical oncology and medical oncology teams.

Treatment ranges from simple observation to chemotherapy, immunotherapy (or antibody-based therapy), radiotherapy and, in some cases, stem cell (or bone marrow) transplantation.

We are a national referral centre for the diagnosis and treatment of skin lymphoma and a leading international centre for research into the functional imaging of lymphoma, such as PET/CT scanning.
