Lymphomas are blood cancers. The disease arises in a cell called a lymphocyte, which is broadly divided into Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.
Our service
We work closely with the haematology, clinical oncology and medical oncology teams.
Treatment ranges from simple observation to chemotherapy, immunotherapy (or antibody-based therapy), radiotherapy and, in some cases, stem cell (or bone marrow) transplantation.
We are a national referral centre for the diagnosis and treatment of skin lymphoma and a leading international centre for research into the functional imaging of lymphoma, such as PET/CT scanning.
We have close links with lymphoma patient support groups. Please ask your lymphoma team for details.
