Our services
We provide assessment and a range of treatment options and approaches for all musculoskeletal conditions.

Ambulatory oxygen service
The ambulatory oxygen service at Guy's and St Thomas' provides assessments for ambulatory oxygen, for the residents of Lambeth and Southwark. We also help patients from further afield who are having difficulty accessing oxygen services or require more detailed assessment than can be provided locally.

Kidney (renal) rehabilitation physiotherapy service

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
The musculoskeletal physiotherapy service provides initial consultations and a range of treatment options for all musculoskeletal conditions including simple lower back pain through to high level sports injuries.

Musculoskeletal assessment service (MCATTS)
Our musculoskeletal assessment service (MCATTS) consultations are with an advanced physiotherapy practitioner. They will provide you with an expert opinion for your musculoskeletal condition and are able to refer you to other services such as orthopaedics, rheumatology and pain management.
We are able to request investigations for musculoskeletal conditions when they are needed to guide future management including x-rays, ultrasound, MRI scans, nerve conduction studies and blood tests.
We can also provide treatment options such as corticosteroid injections under ultrasound guidance.

Neurorehabilitation physiotherapy
The neurorehabilitation physiotherapy service has been developed to provide high quality neuro specific care. We provide initial consultations and a range of treatment options for all neuro conditions including Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS) and stroke.

Older persons physiotherapy
Physiotherapy in the older person’s assessment unit at Guy’s Hospital has been developed to provide high quality care for older adults in the local area. We see and treat a variety of conditions, including reduced function after a hospital stay, poor balance and reduced confidence.

Pulmonary rehabilitation
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a supervised, personalised seven-week programme of exercise and education. It is designed specifically for people with lung conditions who experience breathlessness in daily life.
