Neurology: immunosuppressive medications

 

You may have an increased risk of developing the coronavirus if you take
any of these immunosuppressive medications, either alone or in
combination. Please check if your medication is on the list.

  • Prednisolone (>20mg per day)

  • Drugs for multiple sclerosis: Terflunamide (Aubagio), Dimethyl fumarate (Tecfidera), Fingolimod (Gilenya), Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus), Cladribine (mavenclad), Alemtuzumab (Lemtrada)

  • Methotrexate

  • Leflunomide

  • Azathioprine and 6-mercaptopurine

  • Mycophenolate mofetil

  • Cyclophosphamide

  • Tacrolimus

  • Rituximab

  • Any anti-TNF drug, for example eternacept, adalimumab, infliximab, golimumab, certolizumab

  • Toclizumab

  • Abatacept

  • JAK inhibitors, for example baricitnib, tofacitinib

  • Belimumab

  • Anakinra

  • Secukinumab

  • Ixekizumab

  • Apremilast
