Nutrition and dietetics service


All of our dietitians are state registered. They work with other services where needed, provide one-to-one counselling and training for staff on various aspects of nutrition, as well as patient education sessions, eg for obesity, diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Download our Nutritional Care Strategy

Guy's and St Thomas', which serves more than one million meals each year, launched its Nutritional Care Strategy in September 2016.  
The strategy aims to help staff prevent malnutrition in vulnerable patients, provide safe specialist nutrition where required and to encourage patients, staff and visitors to choose healthier food options.
