Your outpatient appointment

Please allow up to two hours for your orthopaedic outpatient appointment. We make every effort to see you on time, however our outpatient clinic can experience delays and appointments sometimes overrun. Please make sure you allow plenty of time for your appointment.

We may need to do additional investigations or procedures during your appointment including:

  • x-rays
  • plaster removal
  • plaster application
  • dressing changes
  • blood tests
  • pre-operative assessments.

Please be aware that, in most of our clinics, patients are required to have an x-ray prior to their appointment. When they return to clinic, they will be seen at their allotted time slot. We thank you for your understanding and patience.
