Genetic testing clinics

If appropriate, you'll be offered genetic testing. This will be discussed with you during a clinic appointment.

Genetic testing is performed by our:

  • inherited cardiac conditions specialist nurses
  • cardiac genetic counsellors
  • consultant cardiovascular geneticists.

The genetic testing appointment will be arranged by the genetics service.

Outreach ICC clinics

As part of the British Heart Foundation Miles Frost Fund project, we have developed a partnership with our colleagues in hospitals in the south east to support outreach ICC clinics. This is to create a smoother pathway for screening and testing of ICC conditions. There is a consultant-led clinic in the following hospitals:
