Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust have a contractual arrangement to provide a renal service for the Guernsey Committee for Health and Social Care (HSC). The Guernsey dialysis unit at The Princess Elizabeth Hospital provides six haemodialysis stations and outpatient services for Guernsey residents with chronic kidney disease.
Guernsey is not a member of the European Community (EC) and, therefore, the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is not valid on Guernsey. The States of Guernsey website has more information about holiday haemodialysis or you can contact the dialysis unit.
