Biography: Natalie has occupational therapy qualifications both in the Philippines (PRC) and the USA (NBCOT). She has worked as an occupational therapist in England since 2005 and completed various clinical and specialist rotations in junior years. 

This role focuses on the assessment of ADL function in view of promoting safety and independence of patients peri-operatively.

Specialist interests: standardised and functional assessment of older adults over 65 with emphasis on cognitive, sensory- perceptual and motor function impacting ADL.

Education: B.S. in Occupational Therapy (1998) – EAC Manila, Philippines. 

Shahid Uddin

Mohammed Shahid Uddin is the POPS team administrator. Shahid graduated from Westminster University with a degree in business and accounting in 2014. He worked as a shift manager at Tesco for two and half years and prior to joining the POPS team worked as part of Alzheimer's Society on a youth engagement project to raise awareness of dementia. During his time at Alzheimer's Society, Shahid took an interest in providing services and awareness for older people with cognitive impairment, which is what has inspired him to join the POPS team.

His job role includes:

  • booking appointments
  • organising clinics
  • updating the patient database
  • liaising with GPs and other health workers
  • obtaining test results
  • relaying information about patients
  • carrying out all other general administration duties.
