Coronavirus: neurology update

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, please read our advice and information before making a referral.

Referrals

General neurology, headache and epilepsy services at Guy’s and St Thomas’ only accept new GP referrals from Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich (including practices in Battersea and south Westminster). We accept GP referrals for patients with other conditions provided within our neurology services.

The unit takes primarily secondary referrals for common neurological conditions but is a tertiary unit for:

Specialist interests also include stroke, motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease and headaches.

All GP referrals must be submitted using the NHS e-Referral service (formerly Choose and Book).

Referrals sent to the nhs.net mailbox or by post from GPs will not be processed.
