The local catchment area of Guy's and St Thomas' includes the one million population of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. We also have a large tertiary referral practice dealing with patients from all over the UK and other countries.
To refer a patient
Referrals are accepted from GPs and other hospital specialists.
NHS GP referrals
All NHS GP referrals must be submitted through the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS). Referrals sent by email or post from NHS GPs will not be processed.
Should you require advice about a patient, please usethe advice and guidance facility through e-RS.
Non GP and tertiary referrals
Please send your referral to the address above or email email@example.com.
To help us book your patient into the most appropriate clinic, please provide as much information as possible. We may contact the patient before offering an appointment to make sure they're seen at the most suitable clinic.
Referrals from other hospitals must include a completed Inter-Provider Minimum Data Set or ensure that one is sent within 48 hours of referring a patient.

Two week wait referrals
For urgent two week wait referrals, please complete the proforma from the Healthy London Partnership website.
All NHS GP referrals must be submitted using the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS). Referrals sent by email or by post from GPs will not be processed.
All non GP referrals, should email firstname.lastname@example.org.
