Coronavirus: multiple sclerosis community nursing service update

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, please read our advice and information before attending the service.


Our multiple sclerosis clinics take place in:

If you have a confirmed diagnosis of multiple sclerosis or Devics disease, you can either refer yourself to one of our clinics, or ask your GP to refer you.

  • Cancelling or changing your appointment 

    If you need to cancel or change your appointment for any reason, please contact the designated nurse specialist for your area. 

  • Before your appointment

    Please bring with you any medications you are taking. 

  • What to expect at your appointment

    You will see a clinical nurse specialist and your appointment will usually last 45 minutes to one hour.

    Occasionally students supervised by qualified staff might be involved in your care. It is valuable training for students and does not affect the quality of your treatment in any way, but please tell us if you do not want them to be present or involved. We will always respect your wishes.

  • After your appointment

    You will receive copies of clinic letters, and can contact your designated clinical nurse specialist to discuss any problems you may have.
