Children's respiratory service

The children's respiratory service cares for children affected by breathing difficulties such as asthma and lung infections.

Description:
Children's services are mainly located in Evelina London Children's Hospital - a purpose built hospital alongside St Thomas' Hospital. It was London's first new children's hospital for more than 100 years and with everything from the menus to the design of the building itself chosen by children, it's something truly special.

Children's sickle cell and thalassaemia service

Description:
The children's haemoglobinopathies service sees children with sickle cell disease, thalassaemia and other disorders of the haemoglobin.

Children's sleep medicine department

Description:
We offer specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment to children and young people who experience particularly severe sleep problems.

Children's speech and language therapy service

Our speech and language therapists assess and manage children with a range of conditions affecting listening, language, speech, voice, social interaction, eating, drinking and swallowing.

Children's stroke service

Commercial services

Description:
Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has one of the largest and most experienced commercial teams in the NHS. The team was established 20 years ago and earns additional income that is used entirely to support the delivery of our NHS services.

The @home services are made up of the @home service and pal@home service. Both provide a complimentary range of services to support you in your own home.

Community dermatology Southwark service

Our community dermatology service provides a wide range of dermatological conditions for patients living in Southwark.

Community foot health (podiatry) service

Description:
Our community foot health (podiatry) clinics offer a range of services to assess, treat and advise people on any foot condition. Our podiatrists (healthcare professionals trained in all aspects of care for the feet and lower limbs, including the most common foot problems) provide expertise in preventing and treating disorders of the foot and ankle.

Community midwifery for young mothers

Description:
The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) works with women under 20 expecting their first baby.

Community nursing (adult) team

Description:
The adult community nursing team provides a nursing service to adults over the age of 16 who are either housebound or have complex needs.

Community rehabilitation and falls

Description:
Our community rehabilitation and falls service provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults over 16 living in the community.

Complex paediatric motor disorder assessment and management service

Our complex children's motor disorder assessment and management service assesses the suitability of children and young people with complex motor disorders.

Description:
Bladder and bowel community nursing provide a continence service for people from the age of 4 years onwards.

Counsellor service (children's)

Description:
Our children's counsellor service provides a confidential counselling service for parents/carers of children being treated at Evelina London Children's Hospital. We also offer bereavement counselling for those whose children have died.

Critical care services

Description:
Critical care units are specially staffed, equipped and designed to closely monitor and treat patients with life-threatening conditions.

CT scanning (children's)

Description:
Our children's radiology service provides imaging services such as x-rays and ultrasounds to help the diagnosis and treatment of inpatients and outpatients at Evelina London Children's Hospital and patients in the community.

CT scans

Description:
We are one of the UK's leading clinical PET/CT (positron emission tomography coupled with computerised tomography) centres with more than 15 years experience of PET and PET-CT scanning.

Cutaneous allergy service

Description:
Our cutaneous allergy service offers diagnostic patch testing, photopatch testing, urticaria testing, repeated open application testing to mimic real life exposures and skin prick testing.
