Chris Rutkowski

Consultant allergist and clinical lead for adult allergy


Chris Rutkowski leads the department of allergy at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He has extensive experience in all aspects of adult allergy. 

He is president of the clinical immunology and allergy section of the Royal Society of Medicine.

He is a member of:

  • British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology
  • European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology
  • American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology

Chris leads the largest UK omalizumab service for severe long-term hives (urticaria) and works alongside dermatology consultants in the first joint allergy and dermatology difficult urticaria clinic in the UK.
