Consultant medical oncologist (locum)
Biography
In February 2019 Dr Kamarul Zaki was appointed locum consultant in medical oncology treating thoracic and urological cancers at Guy's Hospital and thoracic cancers at King's College Hospital.
He qualified from the University of Dundee in 2003. Following several medical training placements in various London hospitals, he obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2007.
Kamarul then pursued higher medical training in medical oncology, initially at Churchill Hospital, Oxford and then in Cambridge as part of the eastern deanery training programme. During that time, he obtained an MSc in oncology and a Royal College of Physicians medical oncology certificate before gaining his certificate of completion of specialist training (CCST) in 2013.
He is currently finishing his PhD in gene therapy at University College London.
